The most common DIY antenna installation misconception is that bigger is better, in suffering poor reception the DIY installer installs a bigger antenna. It is possible to receive too much signal!
Using our signal meters we can test each channel for an accurate readout of not only signal strength, but also data bit error rates and signal noise which is a factor with digital tv, and adjust the antenna as necessary, install attenuators to reduce the signal or suggest antenna replacements. We test at the antenna and also at the wall outlet itself, enabling us to measure signal loss through cabling and splitters.

ANALOG TV IS ENDING!
Between 2010 and 2013 around Australia Analog 'free to air' tv channels will be turned off and replaced with Digital only channels. Most regional areas have already been switched off, with metropolitan Melbourne to be switched off 31st December 2013!
In most areas 'free to air' Digital TV is available already, and with extra channels and improved picture and sound quality, why not upgrade now?

What's needed to receive Digital TV?
In most cases all you will need is a tv that has an inbuilt Digital TV tuner, or you will need to buy an external receiver commonalty called a 'Set Top Box' which can connect to your TV via AV leads much like a DVD player.
In some cases you may need to upgrade the antenna and even cabling and wall sockets.
