We only use the highest quality parts, such as ADC Krone and C10, and use high quality Cat5e or higher cable for all telecommunication work.
We also use top of the range test equipment from manufacturers such as Fluke Networks and Aegis.
All our technicians are registered, un restricted 'open' telecommunications cabler's and provide a Telecommunications Cabling Advice form (TCA1) on completion guaranteeing all work is done to the related Australian standards.
We are authorized
by Telstra to work on and alter, under certain parameters, parts of the Telstra network, this includes before the Network Boundary (1st socket) and work may include Network Boundary or 1st socket re cabling, relocations and or replacements, pre wiring, installation of a NTD and ADSL central filters installed before the network boundary.
At BJR Security our services range from installing one extra outlet in a house, to multi level back bone and tie cabling and distribution frame and patch panel installation with hundreds of outlets throughout.
For commercial, most retail and apartments blocks, Telstras responsibility may be to only connect a new service, or repair a service, to the MDF (Telecommunications Main Distribution Frame) which may be located the other end of the building, another tenant, on another level or even another building, and not connect or repair to the socket or equipment, this is required to be done by a registered cabler, this is were we can help! LINE TESTING
If you are experiencing a fault with you line, either noise, occasional drop outs, some outlets not working or slower then expected ADSL speeds, and the telco carrier and or Internet Service Provider are reluctant to help, assuming the cause is cabling and or equipment within your premises, we can help!
If a fault is lodged with the carriers (for example Telstra) and a contractor attends to fix the issue and cannot find a fault or the fault is beyond the Network Boundary and is not Telstras responsibility, a call out charge will be issued.
We can test the line at the Network Boundary point, and disconnect the carriers lead in cable and test directly, this can provide a clear indication if the fault lies within the cabling and or equipment within your premises, or if its within the carriers network beyond your premises and responsibility.
If the fault is caused by cabling or equipment in your premises, we can help identify what is the cause, and if required, re cable or fix the issue.
If the fault is not believed to be your premises cabling or equipment, this testing will confirm this and provide you with facts so you can contact the telco carrier or service provider for prompt rectification.
In many ADSL cases you may require a ADSL central filter, we can do this also.

SLOW ADSL?
Do you have either:
2 or more inline ADSL filters?
Monitored alarm system?
Poor cabling or modem at the end of a daisy chain of outlets?
Then you may require an ADSL Central Filter! We use the C10 100E and the C10 100P ADSL central filters, which are the highest quality ADSL filters suitable for ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ and we are authorized by Telstra to install these filters, under certain conditions, in there lead in cable, it then filters ALL exciting sockets, we then run a NEW dedicated Cat5e cable from the splitter to a new dedicated socket for the modem, this gives the ADSL modem the best connection possible, bypassing old exciting cabling and avoids multiple in line filters at every socket, helping improve both ADSL speed and line quality!
